See the installation of our largest ever outdoor documentation inspired by our Preschool “Architecture and its Identity” project

Watch our largest ever outdoor documentation piece come together by video.  Inspired by one of our Preschool classes ‘Architecture and its Identity’ project from 2015/16, Blue House Pedagogista, Doli Balisi-Lizaso, provides some insight into our rationale behind visual documentation: “Making learning visible through documentation is enabling at many levels. It challenges educators to take part in a process for listening to children. It empowers the children to believe in themselves. It challenges a wider group of educators to study with others what children reveal about their views of the world. Documentation is also a tool for thinking together and creating something even more powerful as we negotiate and construct shared understandings. To hear others’ thoughts makes us realize there are many way of thinking, many ways of doing and many ways of living, ways to co-exist. These traces of lived experiences enablesthe class to share with others their journey. It also becomes a hallmark, an achievement around which a community can celebrate and reflect together”.When next you go by, explore our “bridge” with your children, ask questions and invite them to share their ideas and thoughts about what they see…
